No new mast, no new boom; your new Lucas Fully Battened main fits your existing rig and only needs attachment points fitted for the Lazy Jacks. The Lazy Jacks automatically gather the sail onto the top of the boom. No more piles of mainsail on the deck obscuring your view as you
come into harbour.And when in use, your fully battened main will be quiet. Flogging will be a thing of the past. Special glass fibre battens are used which are light, maintenance-free and extremely durable.They lock in the consistent aerofoil shape needed for good performance and when you reef they hold the sail steady, unlike doing 'battle’ with a conventional flogging main.

The fabrics we use are of the finest quality finished to our own high specification by Europe’s leading cloth manufacturer.

Cut reinforcing patches on the head, clew, tack and reef points ensure the even distribution of loads and give extra strength to the sail.
